Mom and I both slept in to midmorning. When we were on our way to Muir Woods, we got to be on some really cool bridges. Sometimes they freak me out, but that comes later.
We were headed to the woods when out of the blue, I saw it. The most beautiful, Californian opportunity: a farmer's market. A very legitimate one at that.
Fresh plums, peaches, apples, grapes, pears, lemons, and other fruits. All organic and sold by the people who picked them. Okay I made that last thing up but it's possible. Also there were some majorly fresh fish and flowers. They had a troubadour, kids craft options, face painting, and pony rides. So cute!
We also found a Starbucks in the set of shops where the market was. Skinny vanilla latte is my jam, ma'am. Then we set out for the woods for real!
The Muir Woods were so beautiful. We had to park far away, but we anticipated that. The woods were amazing! Wow! More of the photos are on my actual camera so I'll put them up on my Facebook and put some on the blog. Huge Huge Huge trees. And that's only part of the day. From there, it's only down hill. Bleh. That part of the day is its own beast and deserves its own post.
