That vacation post is kicking my butt. I've been writing it on and off (mostly off) for two weeks. I just want to post it so you all can see it but I want to do it once and do it well!
This week has been great. Last week I was really stressed and then this week has been just great.
I talked with my sister.
I started reading "Looking for Alaska" by John Green.
I was hired as a camp counselor at Arrowhead Bible Camp.
I really enjoyed chapel this week and listened to a really great sermon series.
I made the class of honors kids laugh and think I was really smart all in one.
For my honors class, we are going through our professor's manuscript and giving him feedback chapter by chapter. I love this assignment. I open up the document and highlight it and make comments on the side. I do it all digitally because that's a lot of pages to print and it would add weight to my backpack. When I've read all the way through it and make my notes along the way, then I start over and type a document of "Good, Bad, Improvement" for our prof. It makes me articulate my thoughts about his writing so that it's understandable in someone else's head. The class discussion has been great because I can show my prof and my classmates that I can analyze an argument, whether or not my writing has reflected it in that class.
Also, I've been in a really great mood this week and only God can do that when I'm still on this going-to-bed-at-1:30 thing. Yay God for this fantastic week and a peppy spirit.
