The reason I haven't been updating very frequently is because nothing too exciting is happening.
Really. It's strange. It's very 'calm before the storm.'
Today I had to go into my Fine Art professor's office to take a quiz because the online version was messed up. We actually had a great conversation about camp, Chicago, the west coast, and lots of other things. I walked out of there thinking "Man, I am glad my parents raised me to properly speak to adults." So shout out on that one. You guys rock.
Tonight I'm going to study with a few girls for our Old Testament test that's tomorrow. I've already spent some time reviewing. Yup- notebook and handouts, comparing, writing little notes to myself and all 2 days before the exam! Granted, I thought the exam was Tuesday not Thursday, but I still the time spent studying will apply.
Did anyone see the movie "Hereafter" with Matt Damon? What a strange movie! I rarely dislike a movie and can usually find something positive to say about it. This one was sad, disjointed, and a little too hokey for me to get on board with. I even watched it twice to make sure I didn't miss something (or because I was too comfy to get up and put the disk away) but I couldn't get into it. The movie is well acted, I just didn't like the premise of it.
I also recently watched "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull." That was an excellent movie. I really like Harrison Ford and I really like Shia LaBeouf. Also, side note, his last name is as difficult to spell as the word February and the word Wednesday. What is it with those words? I digress. I really love the original 3 films but unfortunately I cannot watch those at school because we only own them on VHS. This film did really well independently and in addition to those three. I watched the extras as is my habit and looked up the trivia on IMDb. What's up, I'm a party animal.
The first time we see Shia on screen, he looks like this. The man in the gray suit jacket and red tie looking at him out of the train window is Indy.
This is Marlon Brando. Similarities, much?
Rumor has it that Marlon Brando was kicked out of my high school for riding a motorcycle through the halls. What a rebel.
